Office staff paid by the hour now have weekly timesheets. Each person enters and submits their week, and you review and approve it under **Settings > Driver pay > Timesheets**, with overtime counted under the rule you chose for them.

## Add your office staff

Open **Settings > Driver pay > Cycles**, choose **Staff cycles** and press **New staff cycle**, for example **Weekly**. On the new cycle's **People** tab press **Add people**, choose **Company users**, select the people who will enter their hours and press **Add to the cycle**.

## Make them hourly

Open **Settings > Driver pay > People & classification** and click a person. Press **Change from a date…**, choose **Employee**, set **Overtime** to **Eligible** and **Pay basis** to **Hourly**. Pick their **Work state** and **Overtime rule**: **Weekly 40 hours**, or **California daily** for someone who works in California. Press **Save**.

## They enter their hours

Each person opens **Settings > Driver pay > My hours**, enters the hours for each day of the week, ticks the statement that the hours are true and complete, and presses **Submit for approval**. A week you send back shows them your message, and they submit it again from the same page.

## Review the week

Open **Settings > Driver pay > Timesheets**. The week opens on **Needs attention**, so weeks with something to check come first, such as a day over 14 hours. The other tabs count the weeks that are **Ready to approve**, **Not submitted** and **Approved**, and the arrows next to the title move between weeks.

Click a person to see their week day by day, with regular and overtime hours. **Approve** approves it, **Return** sends it back with a reason and a message, and **Edit** corrects an entry with a reason. Nobody can approve their own week, and the letter on each button is its keyboard shortcut.

## Approve the clean weeks at once

**Approve all clean** approves every week with nothing to check in one go, and lists any week it skipped and why. Approved weeks move to the **Approved** tab with their full history.

Admins can use Timesheets right away. For anyone else, turn on the timesheet permissions for their role under **Settings > Roles**.
